Mission Statement
The Company's primary purpose and, therefore, its resultant educational philosophy, is to provide lifelong learning opportunities that enable students to pursue their chosen careers in the fields of audio, creative media, film and other digital media.
This philosophy translates into the provision of a variety of pathways by which students can obtain the education and training they need and is partially illustrated by SAE Institute's decision to open many relatively small branches around the world rather than to centralise in a few very large colleges. Thus SAE Institute is able to stay in close touch with local needs and to articulate more easily with other institutions.
SAE Institute encourages students from all backgrounds to undertake courses which will enable them to expand and develop their career options and opportunities.
In addition to these vocational concerns, SAE Institute is interested in assisting the development of the whole person and not only the technician. In-line with this philosophy, SAE Institute is currently pursuing, and achieving, degree-granting status in many countries across the globe.
SAE Institute ensures that all its students are exposed to the latest techniques, practices and trends in practical work skills whilst also developing their theoretical knowledge and aesthetic values.

Middlesex University
The Honours Degree programmes offered by SAE Institute are jointly developed by both Middlesex University, UK and SAE Institute. The programmes are developed for prospective and current students, with a diploma qualification or its equivalence, in the creative media field to graduate with a Bachelors’ Degree (honours) qualification from a reputable and recognised University and Institution.
The Bachelor degrees offered by SAE Institute are validated by Middlesex University and supervised by the University's School of Arts. This means that students successfully completing all parts of their selected programme will receive the Middlesex University qualification of SAE Institute and may, if they wish, attend the appropriate Middlesex University graduation ceremony.
